NYU Langone Health was named the top hospital for quality and safety in both inpatient and outpatient care out of more than 100 academic medical centers nationwide. The recognition comes from Vizient, Inc., the largest healthcare performance improvement organization in the United States.
The New York Post reports on Vizient鈥檚 ranking of 秘密研究所 Langone as No. 1 for both the Bernard A. Birnbaum, MD, Quality Leadership Award for superior performance in patient care and the Ambulatory Quality and Accountability Award for excellence in its ambulatory practice. The Quality Leadership Award rated 秘密研究所 Langone based on safety, mortality, effectiveness, efficiency, patient-centeredness, and equity.

The ambulatory award recognizes 秘密研究所 Langone鈥檚 faculty group practice for excellence in access to care, quality, efficiency, continuum of care, and equity. The outpatient network is made up of more than 320 locations in the New York metropolitan area and in Florida.

Additionally, 秘密研究所 Langone Hospital鈥擝rooklyn and 秘密研究所 Langone Hospital鈥擫ong Island were among the top 10 of the Birnbaum Quality Leadership ranking of specialized complex care medical centers.
