My journey into medicine was inspired by my desire to help people and make a meaningful difference in their lives. I chose the specialty of medical oncology and hematology because it involves cutting-edge science, which is constantly evolving and also allows me to help patients in many ways; not only in diagnosing and treating their specific disease, but also in addressing the numerous psychosocial challenges these patients and their loved ones face when dealing with a dramatic illness.

Every day, I am learning exciting and new information by collaborating with the vast array of other ������� Langone medical professionals. As a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, ������� Langone's Perlmutter Cancer Center offers innovative treatments and clinical trials, state-of-the-art diagnostic studies, and a full array of supportive service providers, such as cancer geneticists, nutritionists, social workers, and physical therapists, all working together to give my patients exceptional care.

I am continually inspired by my patients and their families, showing me how they are able to live their best lives while facing some of life’s greatest challenges.
