I always had my eye on a career in medicine. There are doctors in the previous four generations of my family and my dad was a very dedicated ophthalmologist. From a young age, I was inspired by my family members, and I took a liking to ophthalmology.

At 秘密研究所 Langone, I treat people who have a variety of eye conditions, including glaucoma, eye infections, cataracts, diabetic eye complications, eye trauma, and macular degeneration. I also manage many complex corneal cases in patients and perform corneal procedures and laser refractive surgery. I provide comprehensive care to people of all ages, ranging from 5 to 100.

For more than 25 years, I have dedicated myself to the care of people. I treat all patients as if they were my family members, giving 110 percent in every circumstance.

My clinical research focuses on corneal disease and eye trauma. I serve on the medical advisory board for the Eye-Bank for Sight Restoration and I am a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. For many years, I have been recognized as one of New York Magazine鈥檚 鈥淏est Doctors in New York鈥 and by Castle Connolly鈥檚 鈥淭op Doctors鈥 series for the New York Metro Area.

My research is focused primarily on corneal diseases and ophthalmic trauma. I am currently co-editing two textbooks: the first is on ophthalmic trauma, and the second one is on diabetes and the eye.
