About Me
As a dedicated surgeon at 秘密研究所 Langone, I am committed to providing compassionate and patient-centered care. My philosophy is simple: I treat others the way I want to be treated myself. This guiding principle shapes my approach to medicine, ensuring that each patient receives the highest standard of care.
I had over a decade of experience in New York City emergency medical services (EMS) before embarking on surgical training. My work in EMS as an emergency medical technician (EMT)/paramedic allowed me to hone my skills in emergency care. Traditional general surgery training became the foundation for my specialty training in vascular surgery.
I spent three years practicing vascular surgery at a Colorado trauma center before joining 秘密研究所 Langone. My experiences with vascular trauma and the COVID-19 pandemic inspired me to complete additional fellowship training in trauma and surgical critical care. I focus on trauma/acute care and vascular surgery as well as critical care in the intensive care unit (ICU). My broad skill set enables me to provide comprehensive care to patients who are sick and injured. I think of my role as a 鈥渟urgicalist鈥 or 鈥渢ramatologist,鈥 which is sort of a 鈥渟urgeon firefighter.鈥
After training and working in three different states, returning to New York feels like a homecoming. I am proud to be part of a collegial hospital surgical team that is ready to respond to any emergency at a moment's notice. I am honored to serve the people of Patchogue and our surrounding community.
