About Me
I am a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder surgery. My scope of practice includes all conditions of the upper extremity, including fractures, tendon/ligamentous injuries, sports-related injuries, peripheral nerve conditions, and arthritis. I am a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the 秘密研究所 Grossman School of Medicine.
My philosophy centers on ensuring that patients receive personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care tailored to their unique needs. I find immense satisfaction in helping individuals regain function and improve their quality of life through advanced and innovative non-surgical and surgical treatments.
I was born and raised in New York City and attended the Dalton School. I graduated from Dartmouth College with honors and a degree in history. I then pursued a year of clinical research at the Hospital for Special Surgery. I obtained my medical degree from New York Medical College and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and earned numerous academic awards. I completed my orthopedic surgery residency at Lenox Hill Hospital and served as chief resident. During my residency, I trained at world-renown centers including Boston Children鈥檚 Hospital, Memorial Sloan Kettering, and the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland.
After my residency, I completed a shoulder and elbow fellowship at Melbourne Orthopaedic Group in Australia. I also completed a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital and the University of Miami.
I am actively involved in education and research and have published multiple textbook chapters and peer-reviewed publications. I have also presented research at local and national meetings and have won multiple awards. I continue to perform clinical and biomechanical research on novel surgical techniques to further advance my field.
